What this keeps.

Empty Cup Daily keeps two kinds of information: the email address you give when you subscribe, and ordinary counts of visits to this site.

Your email address is used to send the daily teaching. Nothing else. It lives with Resend, the service that delivers the email, and every email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. If you want your email address erased entirely, reply to any daily and I will delete it.

The visit counts come from Clicky, an analytics service. Its requests travel through this site's own address, so your browser never talks to an ad network or a tracker farm. It sets one small first-party cookie to tell return visits apart, and it shows me which pages are read, for how long, and roughly where in the world readers are.

Nothing here is sold, shared, or fed to advertisers. The whole operation is three services: Resend sends the email, Cloudflare hosts the site, Clicky counts the visits. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
